Congratulations to the Burlington Bees for their first Midwest League win tonight against the Quad Cities River Bandits. The 7-1 win was led by Joey Lewis, the Bees first-baseman, with two of his three hits being "big flys." Joey struggled the night before at the plate, but proved to have the short memory that all baseball players need in order to continue working at the game they love to play. Pitching, again had some trouble with efficiency, but there was enough to capture the win. The Bees will close out the 3 game series tomorrow then hit the road for their first road trip of the 2010 season.
